Freename at Web Summit in Lisbon was among the participants who showcased their products to the audience of tech geeks, engineers, journalists, and investors.
The theme for the annual event at the Portuguese Capital was Artificial Intelligence (AI). Many AI-focused startups from around the world made it to Lisbon to network and put their products and services on display. More than 70,000 participants took part in this huge event, that is known as one of the biggest of its kind. The world’s leading internet companies like Google and Amazon were present, as well as promising startups from the tech-sector.

On 15th November 2023, Freename was able to secure one of the booths next to a dedicated lounge for startups to showcase its products and connect with relevant people inside and outside the domain industry. There were positive exchanges; the team talked about the trends in the web3 industry and the opportunities that lay ahead. A majority of our booth’s visitors looked forward to owning web3 assets in the near future.
Moreover, Freename was very interested to meet other major players within the domain industry like it.com and Verisign.
The summit at Lisbon also saw some prominent speakers in the tech space sharing their thoughts and opinions. The talk of ICANN’s CEO Sally Costerton was of particular interest to the Freename team.
Overall, it was a fruitful Web Summit event for Freename, and it will take forward the learnings from the event.
